Dark inky purple colour. Floral nose with violet, plenty of dark fruit, tobacco and spice box. The palate is dense and layered with fine proportions, grainy tannin, crushed red and dark berries, a fine spiciness and a long intense finish. Good concentration and weight, yet with a rounded texture and nice drinkability, ripe but with a balanced freshness.
