Bouchon Family Wines – Las Mercedes Sigular Pais – 2016

Medium deep ruby colour, slightly hazy/unfiltered and also the nose indicates a "natural" or alternative style, although pure with red berry fruit, gingerbread spice, some leather and peppery notes. The palate has medium weight with a nice spiciness, peppery and bone dry with attractive red fruit, some meatiness and long finish. Rather Rhône style with nice drinkability and freshness.
