Bratanov Winery – Elitsa Reserve – 2013

Dense core starting to move from purple to ruby. Some maturity on the nose, spicy dark fruit, liquorice, pepper, some new oak. Full palate, still with a tannic presence but nice ripe fruit, peppery and tobacco notes with good length. Still needing some time to soften but well-built for long ageing.
