Bricco dei Roncontti – Roncoto – 2011

Dense dark core with some maturity on the rim. Some mature notes with leather, cedar wood, dark plum and cassis. Dense palate, high tannin but a fine evolution so a nicely rounded texture, yet with bite and grip, dry spices, pepper, clove and aniseed with dark fruit, some tobacco notes and a long dense finish. Some maturity and still a slight tannic bite on the finish.
