Youthful bright purple colour. High toast on the nose, caramel, smoke and new oak notes with dark fruit. The palate is full with a high extraction, a bit on the tannic side with oaky notes and rather restrained fruit, an ambitious effort but still young and restrained needing some more years to soften.
