Cape West – Shiraz Pinotage – 2015

Dark inky core. Meaty and smoky nose with dark fruit, moderate oak, spicy notes of pepper and clove. The palate is young and dense, more oak on the palate than the nose, still fine integration, rather rounded tannin, a bit more than medium weight, ripe dark fruit, sweet spices and quite long fleshy finish in a balanced modern style.
