Carpe Diem – Feteasca Neagra – 2015

Dark purple core. Intense nose, really dark and inky fruit like blackberry and cassis with floral notes, mild spices and some new oak. The palate is dense and full bodied, still young but fairly ripe tannin, still with some present oak and vanilla flavour, crushed dark berry notes and a long spicy finish. Would still improve from some further ageing but drinks pretty well already.
