Medium towards deep ruby red colour, slightly lighter at the rim. The nose starts out quite discreetly, with some floral notes, red berry fruit and plum. Palate has a nice balance, it’s medium weight, with a good emphasis on fruit; we have those juicy berry notes again. Quite mild tannins, not too marked in here. On the taste, a mild spiciness is emerging, giving off some vanilla, ground pepper, clove, with juicy red fruit, and quite low amounts of oak. Good freshness and very good drinkability or pleasure factor. Medium towards long finish. Well-balanced. Nice character and style.
