Inky dark core and a lighter rim. Mature, ripe and complex nose with smoke, truffle, some oak, tobacco and layers of ripe dark fruit. The palate is dense and concentrated, still a slight tannic presence but no hard edges, saovury dark fruit, spice and liquorice notes with a dense and lingering finish.
