Dense dark purple hue. Rich and intense nose offering young dark fruit, ripe plum and cassis with some roasted oak and tobacco notes. The palate is full bodied and concentrate, still a bit youthful and unresolved but nice layers of dark fruit, a hint of new oak, high tannin but fairly ripe starting to melt together, and a dense and vigorous finish. A big and structured wine still needing some time to open and come together.
