Dense dark purple core and hue. The nose is fragrant offering both ripe dark fruit and freshness, notes of cassis, cherry, tobacco and fine oak. The palate has a nice density, rich in tannin but good polish, layers of dark fruit with fine oak integration and a long savoury finish. Good even today but with fine potential.
