Inky bright purple colour. Pure and intense nose with violet, rose, cassis, dark cherry, fine tobacco, sage and stylish oak. Very good grip, dense with finely rounded extract, powdery tannin, a fresh backbone and layers of ripe dark fruit lingering on the palate with well-integrated oak, a slight hint of toast and mocha. Long and vigorous finish, polished, elegant and well-built.
