France,
Bordeaux,
Quite dark and inky colour with a purple hue, impenetrable core, appearing quite youthful. Fine nose, intense. Quite modern style with some new oak. A lot of inky dark fruit. With dark plum, cassis, blackberry, sweet spiciness. Good concentration on the palate. Still very youthful with roasted new oak. Very concentrated dark fruit, with blackberry, cassis, plum flavours. Nice notes of vanilla and coffee bean, some chocolate. Really chewy and meaty on the palate. Very flavour intense with a long lingering finish. I would say it is already quite tempting. There is a lot of stuffing in there. Quite delicious, but it is certainly a wine that will develop a lot of nuance over the coming years. So if you are really desperate with a nice steak it should drink well but it should easily have ten plus years in the cellar.
