Dark dense core and a purple hue. Pure and layered nose where fine oak and toast meet wild berries, raspberry, cassis, violet, and chalk. The palate shows good concentration and polish with grainy tannin and fresh underlying acidity, succulent fruit with mild spice, and a long lingering finish.
