Dark purple core and hue. Sweet nose offering ripe fruit, jammed plum, cassis, fine tobacco and mild oak. Rather full palate, youthful texture with grippy tannin, fresh red berries with cassis, tobacco and a slight hint of oak. Nicely built in a traditional age worthy style with fine length and structure, still deserving some years of ageing.
