Château Lagrange – 2011
Saint Julien
, 3e Grand Cru Classé
France,
Bordeaux,
Dark ruby red core with a purple hue. Intense nose with some maturity, mocha, leather, tobacco and ripe dark fruit with cassis dominating, well-integrated oak. The palate is dense and on the fuller side, still with a slight tannic bite but nicely layered and complex with good length and approaching drinkability.
