Château Maucamps – 2014
Haut Médoc
, Cru Bourgeois
France,
Bordeaux,
Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Pure and fresh nose with hints of crushed berries, cassis, sage, some cocoa and discreet wood. The palate is dense and full with good extract, still young but ripe tannin, nice dark fruit well integrated oak and a long finish with pure dark fruit. Still a bit tight on the finish but should open up in the coming 1-2 years.
