Medium to deep ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose exudes new oak, some roasted notes, red and black currant with tobacco. The palate has classic medium body with a young but ripe texture, still a tannic presence with fresh acidity and juicy fruit, and a medium towards long finish with generous fruit. Drinkable today but should improve over the coming few years.
