Medium to deep ruby red colour. Slightly higher ripeness blending red fruit with cassis and dark plum, finely toasted wood and some spicy notes of mint and liquorice. The palate has a good grip, rather dense yet fresh with young fruit, notes of crushed berries, finely integrated wood and a convincing length, well rounded tannin giving a rather polished texture, attractive today but should age well, a fine example for the vintage.
