Youthful dark inky colour. Fine nose, intense and ripe with fine oak, tobacco and gently toasted notes, ripe dark fruit with cassis, plum, cherry and a sweet spiciness. The palate is dense and concentrated, elegant and strict yet with layers of ripe dark fruit, crème de cassis, polished but plentiful tannins and a very long, lingering finish. Stylish and very promising, albeit delicious today.
