Christian Drouin – 1959
Calvados
France,
Calvados,
Amber colour; complex nose of brown sugar, molasses, fine spices, dried ginger, dried apple, cedar wood and nuts; the palate is intense and warm, but with integrated alcohol, flavours of almond paste, nuts, dried fruit, cedar wood and a long, lingering finish, quite complex.
