Bright light golden colour with vivid fine bubbles. Great purity on the nose, bright chardonnay with fresh hazelnut, confit de citron, chalk, lemongrass and pale stone fruit with fresh butter. The palate has both a creamy and seductive texture and a nicely austere backbone, mouthwatering and salivating with fine layers of nutty young fruit, an approaching autolytic complexity and a very long almost salty and chalky aftertaste. Already good but with a long life ahead, should improve further.
