Deutzerhof – Altenahr Eck – 2011

Medium deep, ruby red; attractive nose, rather ripe with red and dark berries, some meaty notes, fine spices and ginger; the palate is rather tannic and powerful, still balanced with elegant fruit, fine spiciness, well integrated oak and a long finish.
