Switzerland,
Vaud,
Red wine with a quite dense core, dark ruby, slightly lighter toward the rim. The nose is offering rather red fruit, some balmy notes, cedar wood, ginger, dry spices, and plum. Good grip on the palate, still a bit youthful and tight, there’s still a hint of youthful tannin present, but it’s also marked by a nice acidity, that gives a lift. Attractive fruit there, a fine combination or crushed red and dark berries, with a slight herbal spiciness, dry wood. Quite long finish, but still a bit unresolved on the finish. It’s a quite dense wine so obviously it has the potential to go on, and I would prefer to keep this for another one or two years in the cellar before opening it. It should develop really well.
