Switzerland,
Vaud,
Red wine with a dark ruby core, still a quite youthful nuance with some purple hints. Generous nose, floral with notes of violet, blackberry, dark plum, some new oak, some slightly roasted hints and a hint of wood, cedar wood. Quite full plate, dense and ripe fruit, but with a good emphasis on freshness. Bright acidity here. We still have youthful however ripe tannins. The oak really doesn’t have a huge presence on the taste. Very fruity palate, with some crushed red and dark berries. Very crisp on the finish. Good level of acidity. Rather long finish. A well-polished wine that should easily gain complexity from further aging. A nice result.
