Inky dark purple core and a rim starting to fade. Some evolution on the nose a hint of smoke, wild berries, cassis, tobacco, discreet oak and dry spices. Ample and nuanced palate blending red and darker fruit with both herbal and dry spices, ripe with semeingly sweet fruit but remaining dry with plenty of spice and a long lingering finish.
