Inky dark purple colour. Very polished and pure nose with violet, ripe dark berries, cassis, mineral, tobacco, fine oak and fine spices. The palate is very dense, concentrated and ample but nicely restrained by very fine and grainy tannins giving a lift, cocoa bean, inky dark fruit, truffle, smoke, sweet spices and crushed dark berries. Very stylish with floral notes, and a very long, muscular and lingering finish.
