Intense dark purple colour. Ripe nose of dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, some herbal spiciness, sage and aniseed. Dense palate, still young with a tannic backbone, peppery notes, bright dark fruit flavours and a long dense finish. Ambitious and modern, still a bit tannic and tight but should develop well.
