Austria,
Steiermark,
Youthful colour, medium straw with a slight green hue. Good purity on the nose. Rather a mineral style. I would say positively firm, with barley ripe apple and pear. There is a fine underlining toastiness there, with chopped nuts, gently roasted oak. I should certainly mention some kind of mineral, stony presence as well. Good grip here. Quite Burgundian as it is bone-dry, but it offers quite lush and broad mouthfeel. There is finely toasted oak. The fruit is just starting to open up there, but elegant pear, white plum. Plenty of nuttiness. Really long, grippy and salivating finish, combining minerality with a very fine toastiness. Whoever makes this, loves Burgundy I think.
