Estampa – Gold Ultra Premium Carmenere – 2015

Intense dark purple colour. The nose is sweet and ripe with gingerbread spice, black pepper, a hint of wood and vanilla with dark cherry and cassis notes. Rather full palate, still a youthful acidity and tannin but nice dark fruit, rather ripe and warm with a slight touch of alcohol on the finish, but overall balanced, just needing some more cellaring.
