Estampa – LaCruz Ultra Premium Carmenere – 2012

Inky dark purple colour. Floral and fragrant nose of violet, inky dark fruit like cassis, plum, and blackberry with a light touch of wood, vanilla and roasted notes. The palate has good density and balance, some maturity and a softened texture, integrated tannins and wood, savoury dark fruit and some herbal spiciness on the finish with bay leaf and sage. Long persistency, ripe with a slight alcoholic touch but keeps together finely.
