Medium deep ruby red colour still with a slight purple hue. Fresh nose, still on the youthful side with ripe dark cherry, crushed berries, some herbal notes, orange zest and liquorice. Medium weight on the palate, finely rounded with a fresh backbone, attractive cherry fruit, mild spices, integrated oak and a rather persistent and savoury finish.
