Deep almost opaque colour. Fragrant and layered nose of violet, cassis, dark cherry, tobacco and mild spices. The palate has a very high concentration but with moderate extraction, finely grained tannin, very intense dark fruit flavours, savory with a fine herbal spiciness like sage and mint. Very dense and long finish, still youthful but with fine balance and drinkability. A big wine that will age for a very long time.
