Medium towards deep ruby colour. Dense core and a ruby rim. The nose exudes ripe dark plum, cassis, sage and liquorice with mild oak. Dense palate, still youthful texture but no hard edges, dark chocolate, plum and red currant flavours with a fresh backbone leading to a fairly long finish.
