Intense dark purple core. The nose offers some wood, spicy notes, aniseed, leather, tobacco and ripe dark fruit. The palate is still youthful, dense and ample with high but ripe tannin, layers of plum, black cherry and spicy notes. Very long, dense and meaty finish, well-built, still young and massive but with fine room for improvement.
