Dense dark ruby core with a lighter rim. Intense nose with fine evolution, fine oak, tobacco, dried fruit and spice box, layered and complex in a traditional long oak aged style. Dense palate with both freshness and ripe fruit, plenty of spices, tobacco, fine oak and a long lingering finish, still a tannic presence but no hard edges. Really nice.
