Medium deep colour with a purple hue. A slight hint of oak, meaty and peppery with sweet red fruit, aniseed and ginger notes. The palate is bold and dense with high ripeness, yet a fine backbone of freshness, grainy tannin, savoury red fruit notes, confiture de framboise and a long lingering finish. Still youthful but delicious.
