France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Inky dark purple core. Modern nose with layers of ripe dark fruit like blackberry, plum, pepper, liquorice some new oak and smoked meat. The palate is dense and concentrated, high but balanced tannin with intense fruit a bold spiciness and a very long muscular finish. Very good, still young but potent for long ageing.
