Joubert – Tradawn Unfiltred – 2015

Medium to deep ruby red colour with a purple hue. Youthful nose, some meaty notes, bay leaf and allspice with floral dark fruit, blackberry and discreet wood. Medium weight on the palate, still young and tight with a fresh acidity, young tannin, fresh dark fruit and a medium towards long finish. Still a bit tight in need of further cellaring.
