Chile,
Colchagua Valley,
Quite dense core here, with a dark ruby-red nuance. Pure nose, showing a lot of blackcurrant and cassis, with a slightly herbal spiciness. Ripe herbs such as sage and mint. There is also dark plum, chocolate and a slight degree of oakiness. The palate is quite round and opulent, with a good density of fruit. Polished texture with quite mild tannin. Mellow acidity, well-integrated. It offers lushes dark fruit. Predominantly Cabernet-like flavours, I would say, blackcurrant. With those aromatic herbs, nice and lingering on the finish. Gentle hint of anise seed and liquorice on the finish. Well-integrated oak and a quite long finish. Good drinkability today, but should have the potential to develop for three, four or five more years.
