Medium deep ruby red colour with some evolution on the rim. The nose is rather intense with a fine spiciness like crushed pepper, clove, apricot and sweet red berries. The palate is still youthful with a dense texture, yet ripe tannin, a fresh acidity, spicy fruit with dark plum, liquorice and a rather long youthful finish. A wine still needing some time to soften and develop.
