Dense dark core, rather ruby than purple. Ripe dark fruit, sweet plum, cassis, leather, tobacco and some woody notes. The palate is fresh and digest, still a core of dense tannin but starting to open, fresh and digest fruit with dry spices and a long finish. Should still improve.
