Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Quite deep colour here, still rather black at the core with a ruby-red nuance at the rim. The nose offers quite ripe fruit here. Dark fruit with hints of black plum, with some liquorice, dried spices, slight hint of vanilla. The palate is quite bold and with high density, concentrated fruit here. Combining that ripe black fruit, with some peppery and spicy notes; pepper, ginger, some dried herbs here. The palate is still a bit of a backward, there are some protruding tannin there. Quite pronounced. High acidity in combination with that sweet ripe fruit and a medium towards long finish. It is still a young wine and I prefer to give it some more ageing to open up a little bit more. I think the tannins needs some more time to integrate.
