Monte das Serras – Monte do Desespero – 2014

Intense dark purple colour. Intense and exotic nose of ripe dark berries, cassis, plum, blackberry, mint and sage with some new oak. The palate is lush and ample with layers of sweet dark fruit, a fine herbaceous spiciness, well integrated oak and ripe tannin, and a long and dense finish. Well-balanced in a modern and rich style, yet with fine drinkability and freshness.
