Namaqua – Spencer Bay – 2012

Dark inky core, rather ruby than purple, some age on the rim. Modern nose with high ripeness, new oak, roasted coffee, prune, jammed blackberry and liquorice. The palate is young and dense with generous oak, young tannin and acidity, sweet jammed fruit, cinnamon and prune notes, high ripeness and some alcohol noticeable. Medium to long finish.
