Quinta do Vale Meão – Vintage Port – 2012

Very inky colour, slightly closed nose but very pure with peppery dark fruit - blackberry, cassis, kirsch, chocolate and violet, good density and a backbone of grainy tannins, almost like chocolate powder, elegant dark fruit, warm and ripe but with integrated alcohol, sweetness is present but well wrapped in, very long and pure finish with floral dark fruit, elegant.
