Remhoogte Estate – Single Vineyard – 2014

Dense, dark and inky colour. A youthful and ripe nose, yet with nuance showing floral notes, dark fruit like plum, blackberry, cassis and gingerbread spices. The palate is quite massive in terms of texture, yet with ripe tannin, floral dark fruit, roasted coffee, spicy hints and a long and fleshy finish. Ambitious and well made in a modern style, still a bit youthful, should gain more harmony from further ageing.
