Strandveld – The Navigator – 2012

Medium deep ruby red colour. Layered nose with spice box, tobacco, leather, red and dark berries. The palate has great density with balanced tannin, extract and healthy acidity, intense fruit with layers of dry spices and pepper, floral and tobacco notes followed by a very long and grippy finish. Really fine with Rhône-character.
