Velenosi – Roggio del Filare – 2014

Inky almost black core. Youthful nose, layers of dark berries, plum, cherry, liquorice and spicy clove and pepper notes. Very concentrated palate, dense but good extraction and no hard edges but still young and unresolved with ripe dark berries, cassis and kirsch, long and vigorous finish and well-integrated oak. Should develop superbly.
