Youthful bright purple core and hue. The nose is pure and ripe with violet, dark berries, blackberry, some meaty notes, smoke and fine oak underneath. The palate is dense and concentrated with a fine extraction, layers of fine tannin with digest dark fruit, fine oak treatment with a gentle smokiness, finely spicy with clove, ginger, pepper and cassis flavours. Long, lingering and digest finish, ambitious and well-made.
